All breeds are welcome. Training is built on a positive approach that promotes bond and partnership, not just obedience, so progress lasts.

Retrievers
e.g. Labradors, Golden Retrievers
Bred to find and bring back shot game to the handler.

Used to hunt and flush game from dense cover, within gun range.

Tuesday Foundation Class
Puppy and beginner foundations, Tuesdays 5pm at St. Olaves Village Hall. The ideal starting point before progressing to outside work.

Group sessions covering the fundamentals, held monthly on a Sunday morning. Open to all abilities.

Traditionally, gundog training starts around 6 months old, but that leaves out exactly the age when puppies are learning fastest, soaking up new experiences like a sponge.
This weekly class fills that gap, giving puppies and beginner dogs a head start on the foundations they'll need before progressing to outside work.

ONE-TO-ONE GUNDOG TRAINING PROGRAMMES
Structured, individualised help, wherever you are in the world. We'll explore your goals, set your targets, and work towards them together. Sign up for 2, 4 or 6 sessions, or a single session, the more you book, the bigger the discount. Online sessions cost less than face-to-face if you'd like to save further and aren't local.
